At just thirteen years of age, Hannah Alligood has already captivated audiences with her extraordinary talent and screen presence in feature film and TV series roles. She is most recently known for her work on FX Network's "award winning" Better Things (2016), playing the role of "Frankie". Better Things (2016) second season airs Fall 2017. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Alligood discovered her love and aptitude for the theatrics early on by participating in the local theatre, as well as drama presentations at church and at school. Her career in acting began at the age of ten and within her first seven months of work, she landed a role on an episode of Powers (2015) (Sony PlayStation Network). This was followed closely by her feature film debut in Paper Towns (2015), as Young Margo Roth Spiegelman, opposite Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne. At twelve years old, Hannah gained two additional feature film credits: Miracles from Heaven (2016) with Jennifer Garner, and The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016), with Shailene Woodley and Theo James. It was only natural that she would go on to be cast in a series regular role, joining the award-winning creative team of Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K. (on Better Things (2016)). When not on set, Hannah enjoys drawing, reading, dance, singing, and spending time with her friends and family. Her younger sister is her biggest fan.
